Georgia, online-client manager, 07903190147
The Epsom Counselling Service (ECS) understand that counselling and therapy should be accessible to all, no matter the location or environment. The ECS have a number of qualified and experienced practitioners who can offer online counselling. The fee ranges from £35 to £65 depending on their experience.
All ECS practitioners are BACP or UKCP registered and hold relevant insurance. Additionally, they all benefit from industry-mandated supervision from experienced and regulated senior practitioners.
There are differences between an online and in person counselling experience. And it’s something of an individual choice. The ECS recommends some research before choosing a route. Our Online-client manager, Georgia, will be happy to offer guidance and support on this, during the initial consultation.
Online work can take place across various platforms, from ‘zoom’ video calls to standard phone calls via mobile or landlines.
General benefits of online therapy include:
- convenience and flexibility e.g. for shift workers or people with busy schedules
- ‘home’ as a safe place to begin counselling sessions for those that suffer more extreme anxiety and nervousness
- where accessibility could be a challenge e.g. public transport, personal circumstances
- cost effectiveness e.g. the avoidance of travel costs
- potentially quicker process to ’embark on your journey’
To book an initial online enquiry please contact Georgia, our Online-client manager, on 07903 190147. If your call is not answered, please leave a brief message, with your contact number and availability to receive a return call.
The consultation session allows us to better understand your specific needs. We provide, both, brief and longer-term therapy, depending on your goals and therapeutic needs. This can be reviewed on an ongoing basis between you and your counsellor.
